Colombia tenders two roads

Colombia’s National infrastructure Agency (ANI) has launched tenders for two new highway schemes from its second wave of 4G projects. Following the financial close of the Mulaló-Loboguerrero deal earlier in the week, the authority has now begun the bidding for the Santander de Quilichao-Popayán highway scheme. This project will see a 76km dual carriageway delivered by the successful private party, and includes the construction and rebuilding of 36 bridges plus 20 intersections. ANI also announced that bidding has now begun for the Santana-Mocoa-Neiva highway, which is also part of the 4G programme. Under the scheme, the winning bidder will deliver 447km of road, with 22km of dual carriageway between Neiva and Campoalegre, and variations in the municipalities of Campoalegre, Hobo, Giant, Timaná and Mocoa as well as the construction of 1.97km new viaducts.
