Infrastructure Ontario has signed the St. Michael’s Hospital redevelopment project P3

The St. Michael’s Partnership consortium led by Bondfield Construction has been chosen to design, build and finance the construction of St. Michael’s Hospital’s new 17-storey patient care tower and the renovation of approximately 150,000 square feet of existing hospital space. The winning consortium includes the design team of NORR Ltd with Farrow Partnership and Rocklyn Capital Advisors, an investment bank. Bondfield has signed a $301m fixed price contract, with a fixed delivery date, which will be paid out at substantial completion. The teams losing out are Integrated Team Solutions, led by EllisDon, and PCL Partnerships led by PCL Constructors. Bondfield won four P3 deals in Ontario in 2014 including the ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development, Cambridge Memorial Hospital P3, Sheridan College P3, Hawkesbury & District General Hospital P3.  They are also currently shortlisted for the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital P3 and the Seneca College King Campus Expansion.
