A request for qualification (RFQ) has been launched in Kerala in India by the local government which announces for seven PPP projects in the region.
The Partner Kerala Mission (PKM), an agency set up by the government is in the responsibility to provide new infrastructure projects. The seven initiatives will be settled through a design, build, finance, operate and transfer model.
The following seven projects are being proposed: Mobility Hub at Meenchantha, Kozhikode , Public Park and Multi-Functional Complex at Edappally, Municipal Market and Multi-Functional Complex at Adoor, Municipal Office and Commercial Complex at Pathanamthitta, Multi-Level Car Parking and Commercial Complex at Kacheripady, Kochi, Exhibition Facility and Convention Centre at Thamarakulam,, Kollam Mobility Hub at Kunnamkulam.
Last month, the PKM engaged in an agreement with urban local bodies and development authorities to deliver up to 41 PPP schemes across 28 municipalities. These seven projects exemplify the commencement of that procedure.
