Herbert Smith Freehills has employed Linklaters’s Simon Caridia to join its projects and infrastructure exercise in London as a partner.
Caridia has 10 years' skill in the power and infrastructure sectors and has counseled the lenders on the A1/A6 road PPP and the M25 DBFO project.
He left the firm CMS Cameron McKenna as counsel to become partner at Herbert Smith Freehills. Meanwhile, Linklaters has endorsed two projects lawyers to partner. Mark Russell from the London office and Vijaya Palaniswamy from the New York office will become two of 23 new partners.
Palaniswamy has been with Linklaters since 2003 while Russell has been with Linklaters since 2005.
All projects promotions will come into effect on 1 May 2015.
