Tender opens for Alberta sewer


A regional utility corporation is looking for a private partner to design, build and finance a trunk sewer.


Aquatera Utilities is in quest of requests for proposals (RFP) for the detailed design, construction and partial financing of up to 5.4km of 1050mm and 1200mm diameter sewer in the city of Grande Prairie.


The authority is a regional utility corporation formed by the County of Grande Prairie, City of Grande Prairie, and Town of Sexsmith.


Signed documents marked "Design, Build & Finance 116th Street Trunk Sewer" Stage 1 will be received until May 13 2015 and Stage 2 will be received until June 4. The RFP Briefing Opportunity tentative timeline is May 4 – 8.


Aquatera has gained all utility right-of-way and temporary workspace necessary to construct this section of the trunk sewer.
