University of Malawi confirms PPPs

 

PPP projects are to be followed in The University of Malawi (UNIMA) to confront lodging issues at the institution.

 

 

Professor Alfred Mtenje, UNIMA Pro-Vice Chancellor declared that the university would involve with the private sector on a number of new projects.

 

 

To increase accommodation and classroom blocks this PPP projects are highly in need.

 

 

The university is stepping back to join more deserving students who qualify for the colleges due to the insufficient setup at its campuses

 

“About 14,000 students apply for admission into our colleges each year, but we only enroll less than 2,000 because of space,” he said.
